About this service
An about page is not a biography. It is a trust document. It exists to answer the question every potential client is asking before they hire someone: is this person right for me? Do they understand what I am dealing with? Are they the kind of person I want to work with? Those are emotional questions with logical answers, and writing them well is a specific skill.
Brand narrative work is the foundation underneath everything else. It is the decision about what your business actually stands for, how you see the world, what makes the way you work different from someone with similar credentials and a similar service list. Without this foundation, your website copy, your social posts, your email newsletters all end up sounding slightly inconsistent, like different people wrote them in different moods.
We do brand narrative work in two layers. The first is the internal document: the positioning, the voice, the values, the specific lens through which your brand sees its work. The second is the published layer: the about page, the origin story, the founder bio, the brand manifesto if the brief calls for one.
This is the work that tends to unlock everything else. Clients often arrive for website copy or email sequences and realise partway through that the root of their problem is not the pages themselves, it is that they have never actually written down what makes their approach distinctive. Brand narrative is where we fix that.
