The Sage Copywriter started in 2020 with a straightforward belief: most small business copy fails not because the writer has bad ideas but because no one ever took the time to understand what the reader actually needed to hear. The copy tends to be about the business. The business tends to be less interesting to the reader than the reader\'s own problem.
We work with small businesses, creative studios, wellness brands, coaches and makers who have built something real and want their copy to reflect that. We are not the right fit for every project. We are the right fit for clients who value thinking over speed and human over clever.
All work is delivered digitally. We work with clients across the US and internationally, with a particular connection to independent businesses in Kentucky and the broader Appalachian creative economy.
